Outside of work, João is an enthusiastic adventurer who enjoys riding his Harley motorcycle along Portugal’s scenic routes. Whether he’s cruising on his bike, surfing, or snowboarding, he relishes the thrill and freedom of every ride and adventure.

Sara’s journey into photography began in her youth, when she first discovered a passion for capturing everyday moments using her family’s film camera. She would quietly document the world around her, often filling entire rolls with candid shots of daily life. These early experiences ignited a deep love for the art of photography, allowing her to see beauty in the simplest of moments.
As the years went by, Sara’s career path diverged from photography, but her passion never waned. The pandemic, with its profound reminder of life’s fragility, prompted a significant shift in her perspective. This period of introspection reinforced her desire to reconnect with her true passion. Motivated by the need to pursue something that truly fulfilled her, Sara decided to return to her roots in photography.
With the unwavering support of her husband, she embarked on a journey of professional growth. Sara invested in advanced equipment and sought further education to enhance her skills and knowledge. This commitment to her craft paved the way for the establishment of Bamboo Photography.
